Tarayana Clubs
The Foundation also values and encourages youth volunteerism by introducing Tarayana Clubs in the Schools. There are 131 school clubs with 5800 members in educational institutions ranging from primary schools to colleges. The clubs’ activities are tailored to meet the specific needs of their communities.
Some of the activities undertaken by the Tarayana School Clubs include visiting patients in hospitals who lack family support, assisting senior citizens with house renovations, adopting streams and protecting water sources, and aiding single mothers with paddy harvesting.
